It’s a double header this week as Lancaster City FC travels to Ambler to take on both our teams. Any members who haven’t been out to a match in Ambler are highly encouraged to go. It’s a great field, a great location and its best when you can catch two matches while you are there.
Our women, with a record in the season so far of 1-0-1 (W-D-L) take on the Lancaster City FC Women at 12:00 noon.
Our Men are coming off a 3-0 win in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup, but their league record shows only 0-1-0 having tied the Erzgebirge opening weekend. In the standings we are tied too with VE with the exact same standings*. Our boys will kick off against Lancaster at 2:30 pm.
Both Lancaster teams are sitting near the center of their respective division standings. The men are tied for fifth place with Colonial sharing records of 0-1-0. In fact our club, VE, Colonial, and Lancaster all have 0-1-0 records*, but goals put us and VE ahead. The Lancaster Women are in fourth with a 0-1-1 record.
These records and standings are as of the writing of this post. In the Major Division a weeknight match took place last evening between West Chester and the Ukrainians, and tonight a match is Scheduled between VE and Colonia. Once results of these are in the tables could be shaken up from what I have reported.
