We all may not realize how much effort goes in to planning a trip even a day trip. By now many in our ranks are experts at packing up our teams, our members, our dance group and taking it on the road. In fact, taking it on the road is an important part of all the aspects of what we do.
The United German-Hungarians of Philadelphia & Vicinity and the Hoboken Football Club of 1912 have announced a friendly exhibition match to take place on August 22, 2021. The meeting of these two historic sides will take place at Laurel Hill Park in Secaucus, New Jersey.
The atmosphere is also very unique. From hearing German music in the background, great competition, and our super fans always getting rowdy during games, it makes this weekend second to none. We can always count on our super fans to turn it into a “home game” for us.

The day … Continue reading The Legends of Soccer 2018
The German Hungarians continued our tradition of traveling to this tournament usually held in the Midwest. Since our return to the competition in 2010, we have made the trip every year except once (Milwaukee in 2013) and each year the excitement grows among our Team and Superfans. Expectations were high when we left Oakford with … Continue reading A Great Weekend in Mansfield, OH
If you did not know already, our club spent last September gallivanting through Europe to Germany and Austria. The smiles in photographs and the words spoken when they returned led the Publicity and Editorial committee to do something a little different when covering this trip.
