Schwaben Abend II

The Tanzgruppe der Banater Schwaben aus Esslingen are coming to America again and will be with us on August 21.
KV Esslingen was founded in 1985 with the dance group officially forming in 1988. Their website states (translated from German):
“The aim of the group work is to cultivate and pass on Banat customs and traditions. This is done primarily through folk dance, poetry, singing plays, nursery rhymes, and amateur dramatics – but crafts and DIY projects are also part of it.“ – https://banater-schwaben-es.de/

In 2013 we hosted the first “Schwaben Abend” in Oakford with the Banater Schwaben from Singen, the Eisenbahner Musikanten and the Banater Schwaben from Esslingen. Checkout the photos below from that event:
