Ted Kereczmann was named “Editor Emeritus” in 1966.
In 2001 our website was first launched at the address we still use today: www.ughclub.us. By 2004 the newsletter Monthly Progress was circulated mostly through electronic means, though a few members still received it by mail.
In 2021 we redesigned our website implementing a blog feature so that articles could be posted in a timely manner. The goal was to move our news and history, our perpetual record to an up to date distribution method that still maintained the tradition, rhetorical excellence, and relationship to our community we’ve had since the 1940s.
The experiment paid off and though we no longer publish under the masthead, the spirit and voice of the Monthly Progress continues in a medium for our time.
