Peter Jauss Announces first German Journeys Tour of Eastern Germany

—-THIS TOUR IS NOW CLOSED—-

Hello Friends,
I’ve teased this trip for a while and now it’s time to get serious

Join me to enjoy a great tour this July to explore the best of Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden and places in between.

What can you expect?
Berlin, Germany’s vibrant capital is chock full of history, modern excitement and ghosts of the past.

We’ll visit sights such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie.  Beyond that, we will see remaining traces of the Berlin Wall and even go down into a WWII-era bunker!

I’ll show you Leipzig, one of the most overlooked important cities in Eastern Germany, which artists like Bach and Medelsohn called home.

We’ll visit Bautzen, a place famous for its medieval architecture, but also for its grisly GDR-era Stasi prison.

We’ll travel to Görlitz, a picturesque city known as “Görliwood” for being used as a filming location for historical and period dramas.  Feel like going to Poland?  We’ll enjoy a lunch on the other side with a glass of piwo in Zgorzelec.

While we’re in the area, we’ll check out the Sächsische Schweiz (Saxon Switzerland National Park) and take in some gorgeous natural splendor together.

I arrange trips that you won’t find in typical tourist itineraries.  How and why do I do this? Because I’m passionate about my heritage and want to share that with others  like few can, because I “have been there and have done that”.
