Spring Match Day 4 vs Colonial – 4/27/25

A very windy day brought Colonial to Temple Ambler for a week 4 matchup. We fell behind in the 29 minute but responded 4 minutes later with a beautiful lead pass from Chloe Smith to Corrine Renninger and pushed in a breakaway to tie the game. Michelle McFadden made it 2-1 for U.G.H. at the 39 minute mark hitting a one timer from a precise cross from Corrine Renninger . With the wind picking up even more in the second half we had a very difficult time managing the conditions and Colonial pushed in 2 goals at the 57 and 65 minute marks to finish the match Colonial 3:2 U.G.H. for our first loss of the Spring.

Spring Match Day 5 vs Ukrainian Nationals -4/30/2025

This was our first game under the lights in a few years. Our scoring started off early with a very equally played match, Lizzie Eisele took a shot from 25 yards out that beat the keeper in the lower right corner at the 15 minute mark. The Ukrainians pushed to tie the score late in the first half which kept us at 1-1 at the break. Our opponents came out the second half with momentum and got the lead at the 62 minute mark. Our squad woke up and started the push and we tied the score with Corrine Renninger beating the back line for an equalizer at the 79 minute mark. We continued our attack for the last 10 minutes to get the winner but the Ukrainians defense hung on for a 2:2 tie game.

Spring Match Day 5 vs Danubia – 5/4/2025

As we met a very familiar team with Danubia these matches always seem to go down to the wire. Our game plan was to pressure quickly and often and it started with a blocked clearance from the Danubia keeper at the 5 minute mark by Jaz Bishop for a 1:0 U.G.H. lead. The rest of the half was dominated by us with Corrine Renninger taking over with 2 breakaways at the 20 and 42 minute mark to put us up 3:0 at the break. Our constant pressure continued for the entire match not letting Danubia create any attack, Jaz Bishop put us up 4-0 with a beautiful cross from Corrine Renninger. As the match wore on we continued with the time of possession largely in our favor and we pushed Corrine Renninger for another breakaway at the 64 mark which closed out our match 5:0 and Cassidy Dawson worked the shutout in goal for us.

I have to continue to thank our fans that support this squad week in and week out which the squad really appreciates.
