The United German Hungarians were approved for play in the Open Division Local Qualifying tournament for the 2023 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup.
One hundred seven amateur clubs have been approved for play in this competition with the first round of play set to begin on September 17 and 18. The schedule of matchups are expected to be released by US Soccer on August 25.

- Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals; North Wales, Pa.**
- United German Hungarians; Ambler, Pa.
- Vereinigung Erzgebirge; Warminster, Pa.
- West Chester United SC; Chester Springs, Pa.
- Lancaster City FC; Lancaster, Pa.
German Hungarian teams have reached the finals of the US Open cup in 1977 and 1993 respectively.
