WATCH: Danube Swabians Explained in 100 Seconds

On our recent trip to Germany our group had the chance to visit the Kulturzentrum Haus der Donauschwaben in Haar which is located in Bavaria. A wonderful museum with great guides it was a highlight for many on the trip. One resource we were able to view there was 4 short videos that explain the Danube Swabians. Each video is approximately 100 seconds long.

We make the moving history of the Danube Swabians tangible and easy to understand across a period of approximately 250 years. Our four short explainer videos each tell, in just 100 seconds, about the most important historical milestones of the Danube Swabians…”

As these were made in Germany the final video references the Danube Swabians new home after their flight in Germany, but the story is the same whether the individual fled to Germany, Austria, any other countries or like our ancestors to the United States of America.

    1. I found the videos to be well made and easy to understand. They are in my opinion a great resource. They are made by a museum all about the Danube Swabian people.

I wonder what part of the video you find to be a smear.
