Question for you: what do you do with your Christmas tree after you take it down? Well, I’m glad you asked. This year the Malofiy’s chopped ours up and saved it for Friday, March 22nd. We gathered three Christmas trees from three different families (both Malofiy’s and the Fricker’s) and decided to chop them up and have a bonfire!
My dad and I had the idea to invite family and friends over to have a bonfire and practice the new whips the dance group recently purchased; and that is exactly what we did! We burned the trees piece by piece as we took turns giving the whips a try; some of us were better than others, but the group definitely had fun.
The snap, crackle, and pops from the tree lit the air with bright red and orange flames. The air filled with a smoky smell. Nights like that are the best, such a simple night filled with friendship, laughter, and good ole’ fun!
