President’s Address – Christmas 2024

Dear Members and Friends,

The meaning of Christmas can vary for different people and different cultures, but the true meaning of Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ who came to bring love, peace, and goodwill to all.  This is the season to share love and kindness with others while we celebrate with family and friends.

Many of us enjoy Club parties, socializing in cozy homes, celebrating family traditions and exchanging gifts.  Cherishing the traditions, preserving them and passing them down to future generations creates a sense of joy and happiness.  So, bake the cookies, drink the schnapps, sing the carols, dance while decorating the house and give to others as a symbol of kindness and warmth.  All these events contribute to a feeling of fulfillment which is wonderful.

I am thankful for the special relationships in my life, and I enjoy spending time with family and friends, not just at Christmas but throughout the year.

I wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and all the best for a happy, healthy and prosperous new year!  May the peace and joy of Christmas live in your heart all year long!
