The Club Christmas Party is a joyous tradition that my family attends year after year. Filled with family, friends, and all of the holiday tunes for everyone to sing along!
The Childrenโs Cultural Group put on a fun filled performance of the little toy soldiers. Emma and Sofi Walter put together a creative way to include all of the kids from the youngest all the way up to our teenagers. There were some fun new Christmas songs, and intermission with the 12 Days of Christmas family style sing-along-long lead happily by Stevie Paul and Jakob Hubert. To close out with our was the the traditional some may even say our famous nativity scene.
Their dancing and singing always puts a smile on my face as I remember what it was like when I was out there. My Oma and Opa would often be found watching the video recordings of those performances from years past. They would smile and laugh at the boisterous singing voice that could be heard from my cousin Joe. I am reminded of them while watching our Childrenโs Group today, as there are also a few new boisterous voices that can be picked out today.
Everyone sung and cheered when Santa and Mrs. Clause entered the room. The rest of the night was filled with laughter and cheer. It was a wonderful night that honored our traditions.
Have a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year!
