When it comes to what the United German Hungarians are up to, its always been the goal of the Publicity & Editorial Committee to make sure that you don’t miss one little bit of it.
We have made an upgrade to our website event schedule this year. You may have noticed that the old page “Entertainment” has now been renamed “Calendar.” We have added a calendar that can be viewed in a month or list view. This we think will make it easier for us to list and track events including those from the greater communities in culture and soccer. Checkout the calendar (after finishing this post of course). If you have an event to be added to our calendar members can submit those to the Publicity & Editorial Committee.

Rehearsal & Practices
“eVERYTHING IS PRACTICE.” – Pelé
The Major team continues to practice weeknights at the Proving Grounds in Conshohocken. Both our teams play with Temple University Ambler as our home field in the United Soccer League of Pennsylvania.
The Major Women finished played in the EPSA Indoor Tournament on February 24. Look for a recap coming soon.
The Major Men fell on Sunday to West Chester United in the EPSA Open Cup. The loss in a Round I match felt like another loss in a state final we’ve seen in recent years. One thing you can say about West Chester is that they are consistent.

Soccer Competitions – where we play
- The Major Men finished the first half of the USLPA Season with a record of 3-0-2. Check here for updates to the league schedule.

The Cultural & Schuhplattler groups hold rehearsals Tuesday nights and most often at the Vereinigung Erzgebirge and the Phoenix Sport Club. In addition to the events just below, the Dance Group performed at the German Society Bierfest and HK Night both on February 24. Keep up to date with the dance group schedule.

Meetings
the best meetings are work sessions where club business is done
The Annual General Meeting will take place, Wednesday April 17, again at the Austrian Village. This has worked well the last few years allowing members to dine before we conduct club business.
Please be sure to RSVP to Nichole if you plan to purchase dinner.

Work sessions for small committees, the chairmen, as well as the Board of Governors are held either in conjunction with dance group rehearsals, or via zoom or from time to time in various locations at other clubs or businesses, or member’s homes.
