NEWARK, DE - On Sunday, July 6 the United German Hungarians were announced as the 2nd place winner of the Gruppen Preisplatteln competition held at the 30. Gaufest. This festival was hosted by the United German Hungarians as well as Enzian Volkstanzgruppe at the Delaware Sengerbund.

Janet Fricker Malofiy Re-elected Schriftfรผhrerin of Gauverband Nordamerika

On Sunday, May 5, Janet Fricker Malofiy was re-elected by acclimation as the Schriftfรผhrerin of the Gauverband Nordamerika. Janet was elected to this position in 2022 and has now been re-elected to a second two year term.

A Review of the 29. Gaufest 2023 in Sandusky, OH, by Karina Fricker & Michael Fricker

Recently we went on safari to one of our most frequently visited states in the union. The trip to Sandusky, OH was a car ride for some, a carpool for others, and I think a few may have flown in as well. I can't be sure but I do not think anyone came by train, and even fewer could have come by boat.
