On Sunday, May 5, Janet Fricker Malofiy was re-elected by acclimation as the Schriftführerin of the Gauverband Nordamerika. Janet was elected to this position in 2022 and has now been re-elected to a second two year term.
Elections were held for all positions on the Gauausschuss. Below is a list of the new officers for 2024-2026:

The meeting was hosted by the Enzian Volkstanzgruppe at the Delaware Saengerbund. Our friends and partners for the 30. Gaufest in 2025 did a fantastic job this past weekend. We know the weekend in July 3-6, 2025, will be filled with camaraderie, dance, music, and educational workshops while enjoying the good food and friendly hospitality that will be offered within a clubhouse atmosphere.
Other news out to the meetings this weekend are the locations and hosts for the 2026 Delegates Meeting and the 2027 Gaufest. The meeting will be hosted by Edelweiss-Buffalo, NY on May 1-3, 2026. The Gaufest in 2027 will be nearby for our membership as well. GTV Edelweiss Reading, Pennsylvania will be host at the convention center in Lancaster, PA on July 8-11, 2027.
