“Food brings people together on many different levels. It’s nourishment of the soul and body; it’s truly love.”
-Giada De Laurentiis
In my humble opinion, one of the best things about chilly winter nights is enjoying a warm meal and even better company. On Friday, January 13, the German Hungarians made their way to the Delaware Saengerbund for “Friday Night Food,” served by the Enzian Volkstanzgruppe. Those who attended were as follows:
- Alex Blank
- Jenn Blank
- Kirsten Blank
- Kurt Blank
- Joe Hartmann
- Susi Hartmann
- Allyssa Schulz Fricker
- Emily Fricker
- Lisa Fricker
- Karina Fricker
- Marlene Fricker
- Michael Fricker
- Michael K Fricker
- Werner Fricker III
- Bill Galgon
- Janet Malofiy
- Mikaela Malofiy
- Sasha Malofiy

The meal was Goulash, and it was served promptly and with a smile! There was musical accompaniment by Steve and Ann, and great company and conversation was had by all! It was a great way to spend a Friday night with family and friends. A heartfelt thank you to all of our friends from the Enzian Volkstanzgruppe for hosting us and bringing us all together!
