Meet the Executive Board (2024-2026)

Our Executive Board members are elected to hold each office for a period of two years. While this Executive Board was elected to this term in 2024, we only provided a bio for the newest member Kathi Noel at that time.

The Publicity & Editorial Committee is working on a summary of the Board order Governors to be posted here soon. While we await some information from the B.O.G. We felt it appropriate to introduce our Executive Board members. And as is the trend right now they each have (with a little help from Chat GPT) their very own Action Figure in the โ€œU.G.H. Club-Manโ€ and โ€œMs. U.G.H. Club-Manโ€ Executive Board Line.

KATHI NOEL:
TREASURER

In 2024, at an organizational meeting of the Board of Governors immediately following the Annual General Membership Meeting, the Board of Governors elected Kathi Noel as the newest member of our Executive Board.

In 1992 and the Michael and Kathi Noel family brought sons Jason and Brian to the club and the dance group. The goal was for the boys to learn about their culture through dancing as well as being a part of the social aspects of the United German Hungarians.

By the next year Kathi Noel joined up in the Cultural and Schuhplattler Group herself. She participated in the Kirchweih shows from 1992 through to the end of that era of the floor show.

She served the club as Entertainment Chairman from 1997-2009. She was a member of the 19. Gaufest feasibility committee and the Hotel & Entertainment Chair for the 19. Gaufest in 2003 in Philadelphia. In 2005 Kathi was elected to the B.O.G. and served as secretary of the Board from 2013-2024. She also was the Financial Secretary for a time. Kathi was awarded our clubโ€™s gold Ehrenwรผrdig pin at the 100th Anniversary Banquet in 2010.

She is the Treasurer of the Steuben Day Observance Association.

She is showing off our “Blue Danube” tracht in her action figure. She’s ready to balance the budget, pay the bills, and calculate anything, with her stack of cash and trusty adding machine always at hand.

Kathi lives in Lansdale with her husband Mike. They have two sons, Jason and Brian. Jason and his daughter Evie are active in the Cultural & Schuhplattler groups. We’re happy to see the Brian Noel family at practices recently, and hope they continue to be involved. Kathi is incredibly proud of her many grandchildren and loves to share stories about them!
